Frontend Developer

About The Position
You will work with a team of specialists with strong skills in strategy, UX and design, MarTech, and project management. Additionally, you will be part of the development department consisting of frontend developers, backend developers, and system architects. This provides excellent opportunities for collaboration on the solutions you contribute to developing. You will work on diverse tasks for Dwarf's clients.

As a Frontend Developer, you will be involved in making critical decisions about our clients' frontend solutions. This includes choosing the technologies for a given project and determining the best way to implement complex frontend with dependencies on various third-party systems, all without compromising performance and delivery quality.

You will be a technical sparring partner for the entire team and our clients. You will participate in client workshops to understand the depth of their projects and thoughts before implementation. Subsequently, you will present the finished project to the client together with the project team. Ongoing dialogue with our clients will also be part of your role.

Your Profile
As a Frontend Developer at Dwarf, you get the opportunity to take the lead. We expect you to be able to handle the frontend part of a project on your own. Therefore, you will also contribute to setting the standards for how we code, which frameworks and packages we use, and what architectures we implement. Our Frontend team consists of around 10+ passionate developers, providing ample opportunity for collaboration.

We are a digital agency. Therefore, it is preferable that you have agency experience, so you have a basic understanding of workflows with clients and what else is involved.

You are curious and can hardly resist coding. You have a pragmatic approach to your work, focusing on solving tasks with the tools that fit best. We use many new technologies but always select pragmatically those that suit our wide range of clients.

You work in a structured and continuous manner with your tasks. It is crucial that you can work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, respect deadlines, and be adaptable. We are here to provide value to clients and make them happy.

We always work as a team, so you must be a good team player and enjoy working with designers, backend developers, strategists, and project managers. Your focus on the overall picture is just as important as your technical skills. Additionally, you should be quality-conscious and be prepared to work on both small and large tasks.

It is a requirement that you live in Denmark, and at a minimum, can understand and speak a little Danish.

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with either Vue/Nuxt or React/Next
• Experience with TailwindCSS
• Broad fundamental knowledge of Javascript
• Basic understanding of how to use insights from Google Lighthouse for performance optimization of web solutions
• Experience with or eagerness to learn e-commerce (Shopify/Centra)
• Familiarity with or experience working with: Storybook TypeScript and/or ESLint
