On behalf of our client, a globally renowned market leader with headquarters in Copenhagen and listed on the stock exchange, we are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven EMEA Finance Director.

The successful candidate will oversee the entire finance function across the region, ensuring that the organization is well-equipped to execute their strategic priorities. With a turnover of multiple billions (DKK) distributed across numerous sites in the region, the region is the dominating within the company.

As the EMEA Finance Director, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the entire finance function, including three sub-departments comprised of a total of 20 employees:

• Finance & Controlling
• Business Analytics & Master data
• Compliance & Process Optimization.

Selected key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance function across EMEA, ensuring timely, correct, and efficient financial processes and reporting.
• Ensure that the business is well-aligned with the strategic priorities and develop and implement financial strategies that will support the achievement of the company goals.
• Spearhead the journey to transform the Finance function into a proactive business partner and advisor for the regional organization.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the executive team, business leaders, and external partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic insights and financial guidance that will help drive growth and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function, with a focus on business excellence, business analytics, process governance, compliance, and ESG agenda.
• Ensure that the finance function is aligned with the organization’s compliance and ESG agenda, and lead initiatives that will help improve the company's environmental, social, and governance performance.

Qualifications:

• Experienced CFO or Finance Director with a Commercial and analytical mindset
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, master’s or similar advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and/or business operations. Experience working in an international company is preferred.
• Strong hands-on leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong understanding of compliance and governance.
