Quantitative Analyst

As a Quantitative Analyst at Nitor Energy, you will help advance the models, algorithms and analytical frameworks that power our trading strategies. You will work directly with complex datasets, market dynamics and production-grade code to enhance the accuracy, speed and robustness of our decision-making tools. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of quantitative development in a modern energy-trading company, shaping ideas, testing assumptions and turning data-driven insights into real trading impact.

The Quantitative Analyst we’re looking for is motivated, analytical and want to help elevate our data, models and workflows while accelerating their own development. Your tasks will include

• Work closely with traders to develop and refine quantitative models that support profitable trading strategies
• Continuously seek improvements to workflows, analytics, risk tools, and business processes
• Conduct ad hoc quick analysis to support trading, risk, and commercial decision-making
• Design, develop, and maintain analytic and operational views used for monitoring strategies and market dynamics for trading
• Support the development and maintenance of Python-based models
• Contribute directly to advancing and scaling our data infrastructure

What we expect

• Hold a Master within a quantitative field
• You have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Have great python knowledge and an eagerness to code. Other code languages is a plus
• You must be a strong team player
• We expect you to have a pragmatic mindset and get things done
• You have a winning mentality and are willing to go the extra mile to challenge the status quo
• You have a do what it takes mentality and do not take no for an answer
