Plesner Corporate Finance is looking for:
Attorney at law or legal counsel (cand.merc.jur) with relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and/or capital markets law (ECM) to start as soon as possible. If you have a particular interest in working on some of the largest and most complex M&A transactions, exciting investments, and public listings, you are the one we are looking for.

About the Position:
Plesner is a leading firm in Denmark in both mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets law (ECM).

In M&A, we advise on all forms of business transfers, focusing on purchase and sale processes, investments, joint ventures, mergers, demergers, and restructurings. We represent a broad range of both Danish and international clients, primarily Danish, Nordic, and international private equity funds, but also founders, strategic investors, and industrial companies.

In ECM, we provide advice in all areas of capital markets law, including IPOs, public M&A/public takeover bids, rights issues, accelerated book-buildings, directed issues, and general capital markets law advice to listed companies. We also advise Danish companies on listings and issuances on foreign exchanges.

As advisors, we pride ourselves on understanding our clients’ businesses to deliver advice that is both legally and commercially value-adding.

The work in M&A and ECM is highly versatile, and you will collaborate with many different people both internally at Plesner, where we have some of Denmark's most skilled specialists, and externally with other advisors and stakeholders. Additionally, the work is highly international, as most of our cases have a cross-border element, such as a foreign client, foreign target, or a Danish company with operations abroad. Consequently, we often collaborate with international law firms and foreign advisors, which provides an international perspective that is reflected in our working methods.

We always work in teams to ensure our cases are resolved with the highest legal expertise combined with a commercial understanding of what is value-adding for the client. About You:
You are a lawyer or corporate legal counsel (cand.merc.jur) with relevant professional experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and/or capital markets law (ECM). You possess a high professional level, knowledge of the processes and tasks within M&A and/or ECM, and are motivated to create the best solutions together with your colleagues. You are independent, responsible, thorough, and willing to learn more. You work structured and are good at collaborating with others. You communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally in both Danish and English.
