The role and its responsibilities
As an IT System Manager, you will be tasked with progressing the management of systems by product teams, either as part of the team or individually for smaller systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drive awareness about ITIL and Agile methodologies in Change, Configuration, Release, and Incident & Problem Management to promote operational stability,while fostering continuous improvements and automation
• Ensure the agile delivery of systems and support services that meet business requirements, while promoting efficient collaboration across teams
• Oversee daily system operations in an agile environment, and providing support as needed
• Ensure proper handling of incidents , disaster recovery, and system transition in an agile manner, while swiftly adapting to new circumstances
• If managing regulated systems: validate computer systems and application services, implement IT security procedures, and manage IT configurations with an agile mindset

What are we looking for?

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and more than 3 years of relevant system management experience
• Experience in agile development and dynamic setups with continuous new releases (preferably implementing best Azure Cloud and devops standards)
• Experience in collaboration with stakeholders, both internal and external at all levels and across the organization
• Experience with topic of DevSecOps or GxP systems can be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

System Managers are all working as part of an agile-, collaborative- & learning work environment, where professional integrity and shared responsibility are key. In our department we are responsible for operation & maintenance, development, upgrades and regulatory compliance for more than 30 laboratory IT systems used within the non-clinical and clinical research and development area. We have a close collaboration with our users and super users, our vendors and our IT. We are a dedicated department of 18 people, with value for professionalism, humor, and personal development. Our department is part of Novo Nordisk Research & Early Development IT (DDIT-RED) .
