The position
As Engineering Manager, you will become an integral part of the department with special emphasis on facility improvement projects. Depending on your experience you will support the Senior Project Manager in driving the activities or obtain your own responsibility for one or more of the active and planned activities.

Our projects are defined with the department leaders and coordinated to balance progress in facility improvements and maintain output from our pilot plant. During the next phases you will assist in shaping the next wave of rebuilding of our facility to obtain optimal output of the isolator filling line we install in the first wave.

As Engineering Manager, you also handle project manager activities such as:

  • Taking part in setting and communicating clear goals and purpose for the activities.
  • Clear understanding of the stakeholder landscape and stakeholder management as a critical component to the successful delivery of a project.
  • Responsible for planning and following up on work package deliverables, timeline planning and quality.
  • Responsible for assuring effective use of time and resources.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A relevant academic degree within e.g. Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or other related fields.
  • Documented project management experience or experience in leading teams
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (experience from implementing new production equipment is seen an advantage).
  • Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.

About the department
As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.

APP is a part of CMC Drug Product and Analytical Development (DP & Ana Dev) and consists of 3 teams highly dependent on each other to deliver. Collaboration and curiosity are behavioural values in high focus.

In APP our most important task is to ensure that drug product is available on time, in the right quality and the right quantity for Novo Nordisk development projects. The department is responsible for all processes needed for running an aseptic production. APP is responsible for drug product production for phase 1 and 2 trials and have the production responsibility for outsourced production for phase 3 trials. The approx. 80 people in APP are all located at Novo Nordisk site Måløv.
