F5 Load Balancing Engineer

We are looking for a qualified engineer with F5 solutions experience to join our team and support load balancers. In this position, your main responsibility will be to operate F5 products in conjunction with NetScaler technology. We are looking for someone who is passionate about load balancing and is eager to play a major role in F5 technology. The position involves incidents troubleshooting, resolving complex issues, delivering a variety of projects; primarily migrations from/to F5 solutions and other customer demands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and operation of F5 load balancing systems. Join an operation team that manages incidents as well as changes and has the capacity to work on complex issues and major incidents.
  • Identifying and fixing problems with the network and F5 load balancing. Primary emphasis on F5 solutions, with opportunity to expand understanding of NetScaler systems as well.
  • Willing to work with architects and teammates to deliver F5 projects, primarily involving F5/NetScaler migrations and new F5 solution implementations.
  • Share F5 skills within the team, act as F5 SME/mentor for other team members.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and/or implementing F5 BIG-IP solutions.
  • Solid skills in F5 BIG-IP products, including LTM, GTM, ASM (Application Security Manager), and APM (Access Policy Manager).
  • Strong understanding of general load balancing concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex load balancer-related issues.
  • Additional knowledge of one or more of networking technologies including routing, switching, FW management, ISE, D-NAC.
  • Experience with other load balancing technologies such as Citrix NetScaler is advantage.
