Two experienced Quality Assurance Managers for Emerging Technologies QA

The position
We are seeking two highly skilled QA Managers to lead two of our fantastic QA teams in Emerging Technologies QA. The teams play a crucial role in setting direction for quality in the area in close cooperation with their peers in production and QA. The main responsibilities of the two teams are (1) release of bulk tablets and (2) validation and daily operation of facilities, equipment, and IT, respectively.

Your key to success lies within your ability to perform as an inspiring, coaching, and motivating manager and, at the same time practice good stakeholder management in a complex and dynamic organization. To obtain this, you will lead and empower your employees and make sure that we have the right resources in the team. You will support your employees in continuously developing the team’s competencies to reach present and future requirements.

You will be expected to collaborate closely with your colleagues in the leadership team to ensure that we move the department in the desired direction and is critical to the success of the department. This will involve working together to set goals, develop strategies, and implement initiatives that collectively drive the department forward.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading and cultivating a culture of operational excellence. This includes driving the simplicity agenda in collaboration with your team. We are committed to developing a LEAN culture, and as such, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a mindset of continuous improvement and challenging the status quo daily, so this should be something that comes naturally to you.

Qualifications

• You have an academic degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or similar
• Solid experience working with GMP in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven leadership and management experience
• Strong understanding of QA principles and practices and a solid quality mindset

About the teams and the area
Emerging Technologies QA is an area which employ approximately 100 skilled and motivated colleagues. You will be part of a great QA department (QA department for Oral Finished Products in Denmark – ET QA OFP DK) responsible for all products, production facilities and equipment in Denmark. The department consists of around 60 employees divided into five, soon six, teams. We have different levels of QA experience, and we all enjoy working together, whilst having fun. We embrace the unknown and are proud to work in a fast-growing and ambitious part of Novo Nordisk.

Releasing team:

The team responsible for release consists of 8 highly knowledgeable and skilled people responsible for review and release of tablets produced to the market. Furthermore, the team has the overall compliance responsibility for the clinical production activities, that take place in C2.

Validation and operation of cleaning, facilities, equipment and IT:

The team has varied responsible from reviewing and approving documentation to verify and qualify cleaning, facilities, utilities, and IT, to supporting daily operations (deviations, washing journals, logbooks, oversight, shopfloor, calibration, maintenance, shut down and start up). Based on the tasks, the team is also varied, consisting of highly knowledgeable and skilled people, along with students who provide valuable assistance for daily operations. The team supports all production facilities in Emerging technologies in Måløv and therefore has a wide and complex network of stakeholders.
