Your role and responsibilities
ABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors. Driving integrated solutions that automate, digitalize and electrify industry we connect our people and technology to help our customers adapt and succeed. Recognized as the premier front-end sales team in the Energy Security sector, we're responsible for securing approximately 1/3 of the budget for IAEN LD Norway. You will be mainly accountable for: • Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions using ABB line of products. • Translate customer needs into comprehensive builds of multiple products, ensuring alignment with project objectives and specifications. • Secure significant projects by effectively presenting proposals and negotiating contracts with customers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction. • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing ongoing support and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. • Continuously update knowledge of ABB products and industry trends to better serve customer needs and drive sales growth.
Qualifications for the role
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in projects involving Electrical, Control, Telecom, or Operational Technology (ECT-D) disciplines.
- Familiarity with ABB line of products is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of securing significant projects and driving sales growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
