About the job
The position is a new function in the BU, and you will have the possibility of making real impact in the BU in a short amount of time. The role is a highly Prioritized function according to our BU strategy. In Business Unit Decanters, we develop and supply decanter separators, membranes, and other key water technologies for a vast number of applications within the Food and Water industries. You will continue to develop, implement, and manage our Quality ISO 9001 certification for our engineering and supply team. Your focus and main tasks will be:

• Starting with a focus on Engineering and Supply in our Decanter and Membrane business, lead the team in implementing a solid quality management system.
• Develop, implement, maintain and monitor processes and procedures.
• Work closely with all departments in the Business unit: Sales, R&D, Sales, Product management, Operations, etc.
• Drive improvements for our QMS and support the organization in closing deviations.
• Support the organization during audits.’

At Alfa Laval, we offer a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks.The position is based in Copenhagen. Travel is expected to be approximately 25-30 days a year, with regular trips to our site in Nakskov.

What you know
We are looking for someone with a solid background in Quality system management who can help us meet customer expectations. We believe you have a track record in developing effective quality management systems, driving change & improvements and change leadership. You are organized and conscientious, and you probably enjoy helping people to create structure and clarity. To be successful you like to finish what you start, you deliver on time, and you make sure that other people see the benefit of new ways of working.

• A relevant education such as an MSc. In Engineering
• A few years hands on QMS and with ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience in working with product quality, preferably within regulated industries.
• Certified Lead auditor is a “plus”.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
• Leadership skills is an advantage.

Who are you
You're organized yet adaptable, getting things done with a hands-on approach. Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, are key, along with a good grasp of business and processes. You'll help shape the Quality and ESG direction, crafting procedures and instructions.
