Ferring+You

You will work across markets & functions and closely with the Leadership Team to highlight opportunities to increase the region’s efficiency and profitability. The position will report to the Director of Group FP&A with a matrix reporting line to the Intercontinental Head of Finance.

Is also expected that you will drive cross-functional/market process efficiencies and value-added enhancements by managing various financial, operational, and systems-driven projects and drive reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting. Expert in financial modelling and analytical tools, the role holder will build complex analyses and business simulations and present them in an insightful and visual way which will facilitate decision making by the Senior Management of the Region. Having experience of working cross functionally and with individuals coming from different backgrounds and being operationally savvy, the employee will be a trusted partner across the organization and will influence business leaders to make informed decisions which create value for the company.

Your day at Ferring

• Support strategic and operational decision making with timely and proactive analyses, assessments of variances to the plans, financial impacts and risks.

• Develop scenarios and stress test options taking into consideration the risk / reward profiles.

• Drive value creation by supporting and challenging business leaders in an active, transparent and constructive manner as well as developing a library of tools and presentations to enable financially-based decision support.

• Identify areas of improvement in the business and organization and propose implementation plans for changes recommended.

• Propose/implement corrective actions.

• Perform budget / forecast / business plan processes.

• Perform monthly analytical reviews to understand deviations to plan and propose corrective actions.

• Work collaboratively, managing relationships with the markets and other finance pillars as well as other functions - gathering inputs and jointly ensuring financial control.

• Business integrity: strict implementation of IFRS and internal guidelines across the entities / functions

• Benchmark Ferring performance against key competitors, bring in external insight to performance appraisal

• Support and evaluate existing financial planning tools to ensure timely and accurate financial planning and reporting across the Group

Behind our innovation…There’s you

• University Master’s Degree with a major in Finance or Economics required

• 10 years’ experience in Finance (audit in Big 4 is a strong advantage) and sound experience in multinational environments

• CPA certification or any accounting degree desirable but not essential

• Ability to work in decentralized finance structure.

• Ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects.

• Strong analytical and self-starter skills

• Expert modelling / simulation skills

• Strong communication, cross-cultural and stakeholder management skills

• Professional business English mandatory (oral and written). Any additional language is a plus
