You will be given the gift of managing a highly motivated team of 7 FTE’s - Business Analysts, Business Insight Managers, a Data Engineer and a Senior Data Manager. The team is characterized by a high degree of autonomy and an open and trustful atmosphere. We are a mix of experts and upcoming stars within our field, who lives a truly hybrid work model, with a combination of virtual and physical workdays, hence we are geographically located in different parts of Denmark.

The team is located in the Fibernet financial organization where you will report directly to the CFO.

Within the field of data, you must act as the central link between the overall ambitions and the plan and execution to make it happen, meanwhile you, in close collaboration with the team, shapes recommendations to ensure the overall data journey. The skillset within the team is in high demand so there will be plenty of opportunities to make a difference.

You are a success when we increase the robustness and become more data-driven, meanwhile your team maintains their satisfaction score. We have quite a journey ahead of us, to be transparent. We have launched the 2024-2027 strategy with several data related sub-streams. To ensure momentum, you must be able to “slice the elephant” into achievable milestones and be able to shift between details and the bigger picture.

You master the balance between guiding the process and playing devil’s advocate on your own recommendations, all in all with good cooperation together with your stakeholders. The team needs your support on different levels. Your role is to guide your employees in scoping- and problem-solving sessions, maintain clear prioritization and take care of each ongoing development.

We firmly believe in steep learning curves and to pass on employees “with increased value”, why you must think responsibilities and competences in a pipeline.

Experienced manger with strong analytical skills and databased mindset
We expect that you are curious about unknow territory and exploring new ideas. But also, that you have an opinion about best-practices. You have experience with problem-solving and data models, preferably from the telco industry. You bring a strong track record from +7 years in the field of data related to analysis and data modeling, preferably with specific experience related to geography information systems. You know how to connect the dots when things are complicated, and it is an advantage knowing your way around an Azure platform and a data warehouse with dimensional modelling.

We take a positive view on experience with unit price and product accounts. However, it is not a requirement. As a person you are accountable and a true believer of getting the job done, also when it takes your own involvement in manual work.

When it comes to leadership, we expect you to have several years of experience and a well thought out set of values to build on. You need to be fluent in Danish and English, both oral and written.
