IT Product Owner - Data Management

Join us in this role where you’ll be an experienced and forward-thinking IT Product Owner to lead our Data Management initiatives. This role encompasses ownership of the product vision, strategy, and execution, with a particular emphasis on integrating data management strategy, frameworks, and integration architectures to enhance data quality, accessibility, and value realisation across the organisation.. Solution Architecture is a key component of this role, alongside the responsibility of promoting the product to stakeholders and customers.

You’ll part of a global agile Data Management team where you, together with your colleagues, will develop and operate our company’s data ecosystem.to deliver solutions for organising, storing, and utilising data efficiently. This involves developing strategies, creating data architectures, implementing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and providing tools for data analysis and decision-making. As a team, we work effectively with a geographically dispersed team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring that product development aligns with global IT practices.

You’ll play an important role in:

• overseeing the Data Management ecosystem's lifecycle, ensuring CoP success, and driving teams to deliver solutions within budget, adopting Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• developing and communicating a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Management, prioritising features with stakeholders based on business value, customer feedback, and market trends
• designing and evolving Data Management's technical architecture, integrating diverse platforms, translating business needs into scalable solutions with engineering teams, fostering innovation
• advocating for the product, articulating its value and competitive edge, while serving as a subject matter expert in customer interactions like presentations, incl. change management
• engaging proactively to gather feedback, address concerns, and align on product priorities
• serving as a trusted advisor, offering insights on data management and best practices.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar with a focus on data management
• have deep understanding of data management concepts, principles, design, and best practices, incl. solutions on AWS and Azure
• have a strong background in Solution Architecture, with hands-on experience designing and implementing complex data solutions both on-premise on AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• demonstrate proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on driving results.
