About the job Business Development Manager
As part of their future strategy and a strong and recognized portfolio of OTC and food supplements brands (e.g. Pamol, Ibumetin, Zymelin, Amol, Steovit, Nycoplus, Apovit), Orifarm is establishing a completely new Product Development Team. Thus, this is your chance to embark on a growth journey within OTC product development and lead the identification and realization of new product opportunities from concept to execution.
Establish and cultivate strong networks in the OTC landscape
In this position, you will report to the Head of OTC Product Development and play a pivotal role in product development ideation, leveraging market insights to identify promising opportunities aligned with the overall OTC strategy. You will conduct thorough analyses to ensure alignment with company goals and take the lead in driving opportunities from concept to execution. Additionally, establishing and maintaining strong networks within the OTC and medical device landscape is crucial for succeeding in the role. Through proactive relationship-building efforts, you will foster strategic partnerships with potential licensors, developers, and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs). This enables you to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive insights, ensuring a continuous pipeline of innovative opportunities. Likewise, you will actively participate in external meeting forums, representing Orifarm and leveraging your industry knowledge to identify new product leads and potential collaboration opportunities. Internally, you will work cross functionally to align project priorities and planning, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across teams. Finally, it is essential that you are based in driving distance from an Orifarm site or office in Northern Europe.

Analytical Product Developer with great networking skills

For this role, we expect you to bring a relevant academic background within Business, Finance, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, coupled with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, particularly in developing and in-licensing OTC products, both branded and generic. Your expertise extends to registration procedures, documentation requirements, and legal contractual nuances, ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless negotiation processes. Your strong analytical skills enable you to extract actionable insights from data, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning. Additionally, your experience in international environments provides you with cultural adaptability, enabling you to navigate diverse markets and forge successful partnerships.
