About the role

At Maersk, we are looking for a social media and communications star to expand our community, elevate our brand, and support our worldwide reputation through strategic social media, content creation, and management.

With over 5 million followers and a team of 100,000 employees, you’ll have the opportunity to communicate with and engage our audiences, making a real impact for a company that has real impact in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a key player within our Global Content, Social Media, and Storytelling team.
• Create and manage engaging content for our corporate channels including Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Maersk.com
• Oversee social media management tools and content scheduling to ensure a cohesive brand message.
• Analyze campaign performance, translating data into actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
• Maintain a strategic overview of all social media activities, both paid and organic, to seize impactful opportunities.
• Collaborate with departments across Media, Leadership Communications, Branding, Marketing, Public Affairs, and regional teams to align and execute content strategies.
• Work with our in-house creative team, ensuring timely delivery of innovative and authentic content.

What are we looking for

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in social media management or communications for a major brand.
• In-depth understanding of digital content platforms and communications, both established and emerging, on a global scale.
• Fluent in English, capable of crafting engaging content with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. All communications on the global channels are in English.
• Experience in producing diverse content formats, particularly video.
• Proven track record of project management, along with driving creative storytelling that aligns with strategic business objectives and brand strategy.
• Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage relations.
• Translate complex information into accessible concepts and formats for diverse audiences.
• Short form editorial.
• Long form writing experience, either in journalism or for websites, would be a bonus.
