Accell Group employs approximately 3000 people across 15 countries. Accell Group’s bikes and related products are sold to dealers and consumers in more than 80 countries. In 2022, the company sold around 845 thousand bicycles and recorded a turnover of € 1.4 billion.

Develop efficient European recruitment function that excels in supporting the business
As a new initiative to further strengthen the business, we are initiating the search for a talented and experienced Talent & Acquisition Manager to develop and lead our recruitment strategy, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent to drive organizational growth and success. Accell Group has grown by a number of acquisitions, and therefore HR processes, systems and services differs greatly from location to location. The company is on a journey to completely redesign HR to develop a best in class highly efficient HR function capable of providing extraordinary service and support for the entire organization. The Talent & Acquisition Manager will play a key part of this initiative. You will be setting up this department as a whole new function and will be leading a team of 3-4 Talent Acquisition Partners. Your daily tasks and responsibilities counts to:

  • Building and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the organization´s long-term goals and objectives;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand future workforce and proactively plan talent acquisition initiatives to support business growth;
  • Implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates, leveraging technology and data analytics to optimize recruitment efforts;
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice, both locally and globally;
  • Implement diversity and inclusion strategies to attract and retain a diverse workforce, fostering an inclusive recruitment process that values equity and belonging;
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts, regularly reviewing data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Building and nurturing relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, job boards, and professional networks, to expand the talent pool and access specialized skills;
  • Be part of the implementation of Workday recruitment tool;
  • Develop the culture in the TA team into a truly supportive and service oriented mindset;
  • Lead and develop the TA team to enhance the skills and capabilities for the team members and to define clear roles and responsibilities;

The role is based at the Accell Group office in Amsterdam. There will be occasional travel to HQ in Heerenveen and other Accell Group sites in Europe. During the build-up phase you will report to the Global HR Director Operational Excellence & HR Services. Once the area is fully incorporated in the business, the area may be incorporated in the Global Competence area.

Experienced Senior TA profile
You have worked in a senior talent acquisition role for a number of years and you have obtained this experience in an international company with high standards of Talent & Acquisition initiatives, preferably with experience from a matrix-organization. You are a strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable talent initiatives and drive organizational change. With your deep expertise in full-cycle recruiting, employer branding and candidate experience, you have a strong track record of successfully filling critical roles across diverse functions and geographies.

Further we are looking you who:

  • Are comfortable to speak your mind, challenge beliefs of stakeholders on all levels and implement the necessary initiatives to embrace true change;
  • Performs well in a matrix organization;
  • Are fluent in English. German or Dutch will be considered an asset;
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Have proven successful experience in working in an international setting;
