Maintenance Manager, Findlay

As HAMLET PROTEIN’s Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the maintenance team to complete both preventative and corrective maintenance to ultimately drive plant reliability. You must demonstrate the application of reliability principles, be a hands-on leader, and be well versed in plant operational concepts, plant maintenance, and health and safety regulations.

Reporting to the Plant Manager your key Responsibilities will be:

• Leading and inspiring a competent maintenance team.
• Project managing your team’s initiatives and work completed by outside contractors.
• Capital project implementation.
• Maintaining inventory and critical spare parts in house.
• Purchasing tools and related supplies plant wide.

Required skills and qualifications:

• BS degree within a technical engineering discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance with minimum 3 years of experience leading a maintenance team.
• Must be able to effectively communicate at various organizational levels.
• Experience within conveyance, rotating equipment, plant electrical/PLC and steam generation would be a plus.
• Forward thinking, responsive, pro-active and decisive behavior.
• Must have a positive and getting things done attitude.
• Be a forward thinking, mechanically minded problem solver.
