Do you thrive in technical competency development and crunching complex power system challenges?
We are looking for an Associate Director for Power Systems, to be entrusted with the responsibility of identifying latest technical trends within grid forming technology and ensure that the competencies of our team is matching these trends. You will work alongside our global customers on some of the most significant projects within connection of renewable energy to the grid. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like offshore wind farm Vineyard Wind and nearshore wind farm Aflandshage and PtX facility Megaton.

You can look forward to an exciting workday which could look like this:

• Technical development within Power System Analysis in Power Factory, PSS/E & PSCAD, including roadmap for e.g., automations and hybrid energy parks.
• Set direction for our technical deliveries, e.g., building a Project Execution Model.
• Be the last resort for sparring to colleagues who encounter complex technical issues.
• Input/review of technical qualifications in relation to recruitment of new employees.
• Ensuring technical onboarding & quality in of our work whilst we grow.
• Participate in business development to the extend you like.

This is a technical leadership role which involves developing ties with others. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

We would be thrilled to hear from candidates who resembles the following:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role
• Preferably holds a M.Sc. within Electrical Engineering
• Extensive experience in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E & PSCAD.
• Competencies in Python scripting for automation would be beneficial, but not a requirement.
• Experience in HVDC-VSC is considered advantageous.
• Grid code compliance experience in Europe, Asia and the US is an advantage but not a requirement.
