As the lead MDM solution owner is planning to retire, this unique opportunity has arisen in the Global Master Data team who is now looking for a new colleague to take the lead.

Your responsibilities
Reporting to our Director - Global Master data, you will work closely with the existing Lead MDM Solution Owner - aiming at taking over full responsibility as soon as possible.

You will be joining our Global Master Data Organisation, who are based in two locations Kolding and Hørsholm. The team consists of software developers, process owners and Master data Business Partners - in total 12 colleagues who all love data, processes and continuously strive to deliver excellent customer service to all parts of the VELUX Business. The team is globally responsible for master data governance, -processes and -operations.

You will:

• Lead the development and maintenance of the existing MDM solution (Oracle).
• Maintain and optimize existing self-service solutions (PHP).
• Be point of contact to our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Team.
• Develop relevant documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support further optimisation and standardisation.
• Support initiatives with master data impacts.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a relevant education, combined with some years of hands on experience from a similar role.

You have a creative mindset and you are curious on technology in general with the ability to bridge business requirements and available technology when it comes to producing and distributing high quality master data.

You are good at promoting collaboration in a group and have a customer centric perspective on processes and solution development.

Furthermore you:

• Have strong Oracle Database competences
• PHP for WEB page maintenance/development experience
• Have the ability to analyse complex problems across technologies, processes and people, and to create and implement workable solutions
• Have the ability to communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing
• May have experience with PLSQL, Visual Basic, C# and Office Macros but it is not a requirement.
