Join our Strategy & Transformation team at FLSmidth Cement, where we are actively seeking a talented team member experienced in leading large-scale strategy and transformation processes and programs. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to our dynamic Cement Business Development & Transformation team and play a crucial part in our divestment exploration process.
FLSmidth Group has embarked on a journey to explore divestment opportunities for FLSmidth Cement. In addition to supporting the divestment process, this role will be instrumental in driving key strategic projects and supporting Cement senior management in orchestrating and communicating clear strategic focus in line with our Green26 strategy. This position is based in Chennai, India or Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing and implementing strategies that enable the Cement business to meet its ambitious growth and transformation objectives, as outlined in the Green26 strategy
- Drive multifunctional transformation projects with complex stakeholder involvement, several sub-workstreams to ensure well-planned execution – including the divestment process
- Design and drive change management initiatives to ensure the new strategic direction is truly embedded in the organization
- Engage and work closely with business leaders and key stakeholders across the organization
- Maintain an up-to-date perspective on the movements in the Cement industry, including competition, industry trends, mergers and divestments, business development opportunities
- Report status of initiatives supporting the strategic and transformational direction
Your Qualifications
- M.Sc. or MBA from a globally recognized university
- 3+ years of experience from a management consulting company or from a corporate strategy department
- Excellent stakeholder management with C-level leaders; comfortable with ambiguity and experience driving organizational and cultural changes
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems, incl. using Excel to structure analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to structure clear and impactful storylines supported with quantitative analysis for executive audiences
- Energetic, positive mindset, and a commitment to collaboration as a core value
- M&A experience either as in-house or advisor is considered an advantage
