Biogas Portfolio Manager

As a Biogas Portfolio Manager, you manage the day-to-day operation and optimization of Energi Danmark’s biogas portfolio with reference to the Head of Biogas. This role involves executing sourcing and sales strategies, optimizing the portfolio, managing contracts, and staying current with regulatory frameworks. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Secure optimal operation and profitability of the biogas business
• Execute on sourcing and sales strategies
• Optimize the biogas portfolio
• Negotiate contracts with existing and new customers
• Buy and sell biomethane GOs (Guarantees of Origin)
• Stay updated on regulatory frameworks and renewable energy directives
• Participate in relevant forums for biogas
• Assist other Portfolio Managers in the gas risk management team

You can expect approximately 10-20 travel days per year to engage with stakeholders and industry events.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Very good cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong contract negotiation abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in energy markets, specifically biogas, is preferred
• Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to travel as required
