As Head of Biogas you manage Energi Danmark’s biogas portfolio, ensuring optimal operation and profitability. This role involves sourcing and pricing biogas, exploring new business areas, managing risk, navigating regulatory frameworks, conducting audits, and other responsibilities associated with biogas management. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Secure optimal operation and profitability of the biogas business
  • Maintain sourcing and sales strategies
  • Optimize the biogas portfolio
  • Manage risk effectively
  • Negotiate contracts with existing and new customers
  • Buy and sell biomethane GOs (Guarantees of Origin)
  • Stay updated on regulatory frameworks and renewable energy directives
  • Participate in relevant forums for biogas
  • Lead audits

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Very good cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong contract negotiation abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in energy markets, specifically biogas, is preferred
• Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to travel as required
