About the job:

The Market Data and Exchange Relation team is looking for a driven, independent, and ambitious individual to join the team. The Market Data and Exchange Relation Team is a part of our Trading and Treasury Department and will be responsible for all market data globally.

In the role you will be immersed in a dynamic work environment where you will engage with market data providers, exchanges and stakeholders both internally and externally whilst working alongside highly passionate professionals in Saxo’s headquarters located in Hellerup, Denmark.

The Market Data and Exchange Relation team manages Saxo Bank’s external data vendors and exchanges that deliver market data for our trading platforms and internal systems. The overall team consist of fouremployees, based in Copenhagen. In this role you will get a wide and deep exposure to the full value-chain of financial markets across a variety of topics and asset classes such as equities, futures, options, bonds and be one of the key players in delivering, entitling, and maintaining the data.

We offer an exciting opportunity to get to know markets, counterparts, and market data from the inside through your work with a wide range of tasks.

In supporting our broad coverage you will be interacting with colleagues in many parts of Saxo’s flat and global organization, both commercial, operational and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vendor and market data contracts, review terms to support the rest of the organization.
• Be the first point of contact and responsible for the external communication with our data vendors and exchanges.
• Work closely with our billing, budget and reporting team
• Maintain and analyze data usage and entitlement control.
• Align data usage with internal stakeholders and support projects.
• Handling day to day queries.

Your profile:

• Hold a graduate degree and relevant work experience preferable within Market Data or the financial sector.
• Familiar with finance and law as well as copyrights and licensing will be a plus.
• Diligent, detail and process oriented with excellent communication skills and are fluent in English.
• Have a deep understanding of the financial markets or a passion in understanding the market and financial instruments and motivated to gain knowledge within the different areas related to your role.

Further you can focus and prioritize in a dynamic environment and have a structured and methodical approach and eager to take ownership over your responsibilities. You can communicate effectively using Excel, datasets and power point and be able to gain knowledge and handle Saxo Banks proprietary systems. You will enjoy dealing with multiple stakeholders in an international cross-culture environment and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and experience.
