We currently have a unique opening for an experienced Information Security Architect to join our dynamic team.

We offer
A very interesting role where you will embed robust security practices across Velux’s IT/OT landscape and product development, ensuring secure project implementations and providing expert guidance to product teams.

You will drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive information security roadmap that aligns with our strategic business objectives.

This role will be based in Hørsholm.

Key Responsibilities:
As our new Information Security Architect one of your main responsibilities will be to align an information security roadmap with Velux’s business objectives, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.

You will provide a risk-balanced approach to architectural design, conducting thorough security reviews of architecture and application designs.

Furthermore you will evaluate and integrate new security technologies and tools, enhancing our existing and target architecture.

Other key tasks:

• Oversee IT project implementations, ensuring security requirements are incorporated from the planning phase through deployment
• Continuously enhance security processes, tools, and technologies to strengthen Velux’s overall security posture
• Define and implement security requirements for new products, addressing potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Engage strategically with internal stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity practices with organizational goals and compliance demands
• Share knowledge and mentor team members and stakeholders on compliance standards, system security best practices, and technical procedures, including cloud security solutions
• Empower solution architects to include security as a design requirement in new and existing solutions.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have extensive relevant experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field alternatively educational qualifications and internships may be considered.

You will have at least 5 years of experience in medium- to large-scale IT environments as a security architect or in other security design functions.

You have a solid understanding of security frameworks as well as legal requirements.

You have excellent stakeholder management skills and strong ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences through written materials, presentations, and training sessions.

You have a service-oriented mindset with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
