Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe, both Onshore and Offshore. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.
The Project Documentation department is responsible for collecting and issuing the documentation within construction. The aim of this function is to provide the agreed scope of project specific contract documentation to the customer of the project and enable internal departments like Service to access the documents.

As the Project Document Controller, you will handle the contractual document streams related to the project and will manage the filing solutions such as database structure and archiving. You'll also oversee the main data components and for submitting relevant documents to the Project team, such as collecting, compiling, and presenting the as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor all contractual documentation according to contract and collect site specific documentation and work instructions
  • Collect, structure, and update as-built documentation (PBU documentation, site documentation, R&D documentation, and general documentation)
  • Handover of documentation to Service and Customer
  • Secure that all project-specific technical documentation and manuals are in place and stored correctly
  • Check revision of internally created documents and train the project team in documentation awareness
  • Write procedures in relation to documentation as well as monitor manuals for installation and commissioning
  • Maintaining Project documentation SharePoint site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business administration, or similar
  • Experience in a position with similar responsibilities
  • Experience working within an international environment
  • Contractual understanding
  • SAP, Microsoft Office and SharePoint knowledge
  • Fluent in English

  • Customer oriented, with sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize
  • Great time management skills, with a natural predisposition to work as a team
  • Good at planning, organizing, and coordinating efficiently
  • Methodical, detail oriented and accurate

Additional Information
The role will be based in Aarhus, Denmark.
Expected travel: approximately 10 travel days per year
