We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Designer to strengthen our engineering team in design to manufacture, modularization, and standardization of End of Line solutions. Are you ready to join us on this journey?

About the Job
As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for engineering, design to manufacture, and optimization of our customized End of Line solutions and products for our customers, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the agreed quality. You will work closely with your project team to ensure the optimal solution that meets the customer’s needs. Additionally, you will contribute to the modularization and standardization of our products and solutions, laying the right foundation for further development.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, modularization, and standardization of products and solutions in Inventor with a focus on design to manufacture
• Create production basis for Supply Chain using Inventor and Tick tool
• Prepare layouts and support our Sales department
• Create bills of materials (BOM) and spare parts lists
• Perform analyses and simulations to assess the functionality, strength, and durability of solutions
• Ensure solutions meet necessary safety and quality standards
• Review and collaborate with colleagues and project teams
• Follow up on schedules and budgets

About You
You are a skilled user of Inventor and Vault, and you bring experience in creating production basis and ensuring the quality of manufacturing documentation, possibly from a metal or automation company. Your approach is solution-oriented and structured, with a focus on details and high quality. As a person, you naturally take responsibility and have a winning mentality that drives you to improve our solutions, workflows, and the development of our company. You are a team player who actively contributes to creating a positive work environment – we succeed together.

Qualifications:

• Experience from a similar position
• Educated as a technical designer, production technologist, industrial designer, or equivalent
• Proficient user of Inventor and Vault
• Experience with 3D, simulation/emulation, and programming of drawing programs is an advantage
• Craftsmanship background is an advantage but not a must
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Competent IT user in programs such as MS Office and ERP systems, preferably Navision
