What We Offer
In this role, you will demonstrate your research and technical expertise to own the development of novel coating solutions for the Energy and Infrastructure industries.

We aim to improve the performance and sustainability of existing technologies, such as epoxy and polyurethane coatings, while pioneering new advancements that shape the industry's future. You will collaborate with a complementary team of internal and external partners, including R&D, commercial companies, suppliers, and academic institutions.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Coatings Scientist, you will:

  • Develop and improve coatings formulations for the Energy and Infrastructure industries, such as Oil & Gas and Wind Energy.
  • Innovate new technologies that enhance the performance, durability, and sustainability of coating products in collaboration with universities and suppliers.
  • Evaluate the performance, durability, and aesthetics of coatings products using various analytical and physical methods.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to coatings formulation, production, and application.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, R&D, and quality control, to ensure customer satisfaction and product competitiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the coatings industry.

About You
We believe that paint formulation is both a science and an art. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of coatings science and technology and the creativity to drive innovation. You should be proactive, results-oriented, and collaborative, with a genuine concern for those around you.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in coatings formulation, preferably in industrial protective coatings.
  • A creative and problem-solving demeanor, with excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
