The position
As the new Legal & Compliance Specialist you will become part of a team of specialists who are responsible for providing support to colleagues across Actona Group's offices around the world. You will have your own area of expertise and while providing information, advice, and training you will also be responsible for ensuring that Actona Group always complies with applicable requirements from countries, authorities, and customers.

In the department, a key is cooperating, and you will have support from colleagues with years of experience. We do not expect you to be an expert from the start, but to have a natural interest in diving into materials and finding answers. You should thrive in a work environment where you balance different tasks while maintaining a strong focus on details and quality.

We imagine that you have a degree in law (cand.jur), cand.merc (jur.) – and/or have experience from a similar position. You must be able to communicate fluently in English - both in writing and verbally.

Your responsibilities

• Follow-up and continuous updating of our GDPR procedures within the group.
• Proactively researching and implementing new laws and regulations at EU & national levels.
• Maintaining and updating group policies, procedures, and guidelines incorporating the latest legal requirements and obligations.
• Providing and developing training of relevant employees on group policies, procedures, and compliance matters.
• Reporting on group compliance matters to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in creating, administering, updating, and enforcing the group IP policy.
• Various other legal ad hoc tasks.

Successful in the job
To excel in this role, you proper with managing a diverse range of tasks while demonstrating a strong comprehension of the business thereby enabling you to deliver professional solutions with a pragmatic and operational approach.

You are independent and a self-starter, but also a strong relationship builder and can work well with various colleagues.
