Network Security Engineer
Are you our new network security engineer who will contribute to our journey towards a more modern and secure network? We are currently seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to work with the next generation firewalls from Fortinet as well as being a specialist in network segmentation.

The Danish Crown network is a large global network comprising of both administrative and production sites. We are looking into exciting projects and have ambitions for the network area and the network team. Since our default approach is to implement and operate the networks ourselves, this is a hands-on job. Sounds challenging enough for you?

Success starts with a Team
You'll join a proficient network team, comprised of 8 skilled colleagues primarily at our head office in Randers. Collectively, we design, implement, and operate the IT networks in Danish Crown and maintains the necessary network security level.

Your primary working area will be next generation firewalls from Fortinet, and you will join the team implementing Fortigate firewalls as well as working on an increased level of network segmentation. Secondary working areas will be our Cisco based LAN as well as other firewall technologies such as PaloAlto.
You will also participate or touch other projects in the network team such as implementing a new WAN solution based on SD-WAN and LAN modernization.

We have ambitions for the network area and will be looking into NetDevOps concepts and methodologies such as infrastructure as code and increased automation. We seek a person who is keen to contribute to more modern ways of working, without sacrificing well working practices.

We envision you to have:
• Hands-on experience with implementing and operating next generation firewalls – preferably Fortigate
• Broad security and firewall knowledge
• Experience with security aspects in the Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Network segmentation experience
• General Cisco LAN knowledge and hands-on experience
• Deep insight in routing protocols like BGP and OSPF
