Hypervisor administrator

We are seeking a talented System Administrator with expertise in virtualization technologies, particularly hypervisors, and a strong proficiency in scripting with PowerShell.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of virtualization concepts, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to automate tasks effectively.
Linux competence is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain virtualized environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and KVM based hypervisors.
• Perform regular system upgrades and patches to ensure security and stability.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
• Linux system administration tasks (installation, configuration, maintenance) as needed or as part of project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet the organization's technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with hypervisors such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, for automation and task orchestration.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Linux competence is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified, Nutanix, Proxmox etc.) are a plus.
