What you will be doing

• Participate in the preparation of annual reports, monthly closures, and other internal reporting.
• Develop Lunar's practices within finance, including streamlining current processes and reporting.
• Involvement in project work across Finance and Lunar.
• Prepare and participate in analytical work, presentations, and materials for management and the board, conduct deep dive analyses in selected areas, etc.

As our new Senior Group Controller, you will report directly to our Finance Director, Dianna Buck. You will be part of our Finance-team with 20+ amazing colleagues working across Aarhus and Copenhagen, and you will be part of the broader Finance-function, led by CFO Rie Ruby.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need

• A strong financial background with at least 3 years of experience in one or more Group Controller roles
• Experience working in the banking industry would be an advantage
• Danish and English Fluency is strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot trends, identify issues and find solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
• A passion for problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, using your creativity to find new ways to streamline our processes and improve our financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, chart of accounts setup, and control framework can also be qualifications that could be brought into use.
• Education - A CMA, Accounting or another degree within accounting or finance would be highly preferred.
