Vestergaard Company U.S. in McHenry, Il. is seeking a team-oriented individual to be our Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator is a full time position to facilitate tasks while keeping in constant communication with the Sales, Accounting, Production and Customer Service staff ensuring a seamless equipment turnover to our customers.
You must be well organized with multi-tasking skills and should be able to work independently. You must be flexible and willing to learn new skills.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Assist the Sales Department in preparing and delivering Quotations to the customer.
Ensure the accuracy of the quotations and the terms and conditions are delivered to the customer.
Coordinates with the Vestergaard Comapny HQ sales staff on the proper reporting, recording, and maintenance of those quotations
Maintenance of documentation of equipment sold in North America.
Coordinate with Vestergaard Company HQ in Denmark on Customer Purchase Orders.
Ensure that the proper equipment Order Numbers are assigned to the Purchase Orders received from the customer.
Maintain electronic and physical equipment files for customer deliveries.
Work with Production Manager on organization/delivery of trucks to customer and transportation documentation.
North America Advertising/Marketing/Promo
Assist the sales team with the organization of exhibitions and sales events being conducted.
Assist the sales team with acquiring promotional items for customer giveaways/events. Works with procurement on sourcing the items.
Distribution of the items to the events and or customers.
Necessary Skills:
Competent IT skills, Office, Teams, Outlook, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
High level of accuracy.
Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
Administrative skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
Marketing background a plus.
2-3 Year Experience in a related field.
