Senior Data Scientist

We are currently embarking on an ambitious project to revolutionize fashion forecasting and planning through advanced AI technologies.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our new AI Fashion Planning team. This team is at the forefront of developing state-of-the-art AI solutions for some of BESTSELLER’s most strategically important projects. Our goal is ambitious: to ensure we have the right products on stock at the right time and at the right location all year long.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for fashion demand forecasting.
• Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform forecasting strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective AI solutions.
• Continuously research and stay updated on the latest AI and machine learning technologies relevant to fashion forecasting.
• Present complex data and forecasts in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Proven experience in machine learning, predictive modelling, and data analysis.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R.
• Experience with time-series analysis and forecasting methods.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
