The role
You, and a small team, would be responsible for developing the commercial marketing strategy to drive profitable revenue growth, market share, and brand awareness. This position oversees optimization of budgets and content of all marketing activities across marketing funnel and channels. You are part of the Swedish Marcom team and report to the SVP Marketing and Communication.
- Sweden’s quarterly marketing plan full funnel in accordance with the commercial targets and aligning the plans with stakeholders. Upper and mid-funnel are run locally and lower and CRM are run centrally and support the local briefs.
- Evaluation, analysis & optimization of the Swedish full funnel scope. Evaluation tools are Viaplay sales, campaign sales, MMM, CSOV, Nepa campaign surveys, Nepa brand tracker, competitor spend, campaign evaluations, Brand lift Facebook/Google, external reports (Mediavision etc).
- The overall Marketing strategy reviewed and updated regularly– Objectives are Viaplay sales, FTV viewing, setting the campaign objectives, KPIs & SAC.
- Cross-functional reporting of KPI’s and & sharing insights
- POC for Commercial teams
- POC for Media Agency on overall media strategy
- POC for internal Advanced Analytics team on MMM
- POC CRM, alignment of plans and evaluations
- POC Performance marketing, alignment of plans and evaluations
- POC Social Media Agency – supply the agency with content launch plans and evaluating results.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- Minimum of 7 years in leading marketing role with media buying/planning responsibilities.
- At least 2 years of leadership, managing direct reports.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Experience working with a variety of media channels across funnel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent negotiation and media buying skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management abilities with broad stakeholder management.
It’s a bonus if you have:
- A keen interest in Sport

- Background from a media agency
- A can-do attitude, sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others
