Lead Operations QHSE Advisor

Join us in this role where you’ll have daily contact with our Operations team and Operations Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) advisors to support our the operations of our offshore wind farms and managing QHSE risks. You’ll function as a key provider with respect to independent and professional advice and guidance to site management on all QHSE issues. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring a well-functioning team based on your personal skills.

You’ll be part of OPS QHSE Advisors where you, together with your colleagues, will actively participate in and promote a high standard of QHSE. Our highly skilled team of QHSE advisors support our management team who have accountability and are responsible for overall QHSE. As a team, we utilize our strengths to develop and promote a site culture of using and improving relevant processes, procedures, and instructions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring that OPS QHSE staff and our OPS personnel are supported as needed
  • executing a proactive QHSE strategy
  • enhancing site and regional work activities by applying best practices
  • supporting the region to meet QHSE Targets
  • promoting a proactive and collaborative culture in our team.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have documented QHSE qualifications and/or relevant work experience of at least three years
  • have good knowledge about power generation activities with a preference for wind energy
  • possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • are an experienced communicator with strong presentation skills and can utilize a combination of QHSE, interpersonal, and communication skills to raise the bar of our QHSE standards even higher
  • have a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach for supporting short-term and long-term business needs.
