Then you may be our new student assistant within our Group Financial Reporting, ESG and Compliance team.

Your new role and main responsibilities
You will become part of Lundbeck’s Group Finance department and work closely together with our passionate specialists within finance, compliance, risk management, and ESG. You will support our teams’ ongoing efforts to deliver a strong business partner and advisor experience to the global finance organization.

As our new student assistant, you will support the team with;

  • Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial reports and ensuring that these are compliant, accurate and comprehensive
  • Assessing the impact of new accounting standards and implementing these into our Corporate Accounting Manual
  • Applying technology in financial reporting routines to bring more efficiency and quality to our process
  • Executing Financial Compliance visits including performing sample testing
  • Testing the Internal Control Framework controls and maintaining the internal control system (Impero)
  • Maintaining internal policies such as Authorization & Signing Policies
  • Reporting to the Audit Committee on matters relating to Financial Reporting, Compliance, and ESG.

Moreover, you will be supporting with practicalities related to maintaining a nice work environment in the office.

Your future team
You will become part of a team of 14 people located in Valby, Denmark, and Krakow, Poland. It is a team of specialists all dedicated to safeguarding the business of Lundbeck.

The position is based in Lundbeck’s headquarter in Valby, Denmark.

What you bring to the team
We imagine that you are starting or are in your first year of a relevant university degree within Finance, Business Economics, Audit, or something similar.

We will provide needed introductions for you to be able to carry out your tasks. Our preferred candidate holds the following personal and professional qualifications:

  • Curious to learn and develop both personally and professionally
  • Ability to extract relevant information from complex material
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to producing high quality reports
  • A true team player that enjoys taking on new tasks in an open-minded manner
  • Comfortable in spoken and written English, as the daily business language is English.
  • Experience with MS Office (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

We expect you to be able to work approximately 15 hours weekly.
