Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Developer with a strong focus on SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) and PWAKit development. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative e-commerce solutions that align with our business objectives. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and have a proven track record in backend development, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Must Have:

  • Leverage your expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud to design, implement, and maintain backend solutions using SFRA and PWAKit.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend functionalities with the user interface.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce Commerce Cloud to meet specific business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain customizations in alignment with best practices and scalability considerations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and services to enhance overall e-commerce functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of various business processes.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend code to ensure optimal system responsiveness.
  • Implement best practices for caching, database optimization, and code efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to perform thorough testing of developed features.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all backend development processes, customizations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of backend developments into the overall release cycle.
  • Monitor and optimize deployment processes for efficiency and reliability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud backend development.
  • Proven experience with SFRA and PWAKit development.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce business processes and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to have: Experience in microservice development and orchestration (Kubernetes).
