We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules that align with company goals and customer demands. Your expertise will ensure efficient utilization of production resources, while also monitoring performance metrics to suggest improvements. Join our Global Innovation and Development team in Struer in this new established position.

Our Team
As a Production Planner, you will be part of our Supply Chain Operation team, consisting of eight dedicated colleagues. Our team is responsible for controlling the flow of materials, products, and information in the supply chain, from suppliers to customers, and internally within Phillips-Medisize.

What You Will Do

• Analyze demand forecasts to predict future production needs and adjust capacity plans based on changing demand
• Develop and implement detailed production plans to meet business targets and customer requests.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Manage and update master data to ensure accuracy in the production system.
• Perform cost analyses and prepare post-production costing
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production metrics.
• Drive and coordinate tasks to ensure progress and momentum in resolving production planning issues and optimizing efficiency.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve any scheduling conflicts and ensure a seamless production flow.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Production and Operations, Logistics, or other relevant education.
• You have experience from a similar position, ideally within an R&D department.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You are proactive, result-oriented, and a self-motivated team player.
• You are well organized and structured, with the ability to multi-task and provide a high level of service.
• You are fluent in English.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools.
• Knowledge of Inventory management.
