Your new team
You will be part of our Technology Development department consisting of 5 committed colleagues. The department enables European Energy’s technology development within PV Technologies by working closely together with internal engineering functions, project developers as well as external collaborators.

Your new role
In this role you can look forward to working with the optimization of our PV projects (incl. hybrids with batteries and wind turbines), all the way from collecting, analyzing and presenting technology and project specific data to support structured and well-founded decisions. Designing the optimal renewable energy configuration is a non-trivial task, where power price fluctuations, combination of generation and storage technologies and their financial impacts all need to be mastered to enable firm design decisions.

Areas of responsibilities

  • Running and improving techno-economic models.
  • Supporting evaluation and optimization of the projects.
  • Supporting on team tasks and projects.

Job Prerequisites
It is expected that you:

  • Have a Masters Degree in Renewable Energy or similar and maybe a few years experience within PV.
  • Have good technical skills and are familiar with Excel, PVsyst, and Python.
  • Have an interest in both the technical design and business case modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Are proficient in English.

The adequate candidate is a skilled communicator, motivated by working with different stakeholders (internally and externally) in an international environment. It is important that you have a structured and analytical mindset as well as a sense of responsibility toward your tasks in order to effectively drive them independently but also in a team setup when necessary. Finally, it is important that you are enthusiastic and eager to make a difference enabling the green transition.
