Job Description
Are you an experienced district heating engineer with a passion for making a difference in the green energy transition in the utility sector?

Join us and have a positive impact on the green energy transition in the district heating utility sector with the Danfoss’ Digital Services team!

We are looking for a Project Engineer to help us install, operate and maintain our Leanheat HeatSolutions application for our clients in the district heating utility sector.

Job Responsibilities
THE ROLE & THE TEAM

In the department Danfoss Digital Services we are looking for a dedicated and experienced District Heating Specialist to join our team as a Project Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and configuration of our HeatSolution system for new and existing customers, as well as providing comprehensive support to system integrators and end users. This role requires a methodical approach, a strong background in district heating, and proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments.

As part of the Leanheat HeatSolutions team, you will have a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and in close contact with our customers provide critical support and expertise thereby contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our district heating solutions. You will hold a significant responsibility and be part of a team where your input is valued and trusted.

If you accept the challenge, your main responsibilities will include:

• Participating in dialog with new and existing customers to clarify needs and requirements.
• Planning and designing installations tailored to customer needs.
• Handling of client data and ensuring data quality.
• Installing HeatSol within our hosting environment or at client’s premise.
• Applying the same detailed process as for new installations to extend and reconfigure existing systems.
• Providing 1st level support for direct customer inquiries in case they can not be transferred to the O&M team.
• Offering 2nd and 3rd level support for system integrators and the O&M team.

Background & Skills
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

You have a strong experience with district heating systems and a flair for computers beyond an ordinary user. On a personal note, you communicate well with stakeholders, have a structured and methodical work approach, manage working on multiple projects at the same time without losing track of important details, and are a team player with a helpful attitude. You have an eye for detail without losing the overall picture.

On top of that, you should be able to checkmark some of the points listed below:

• Experience in setting up software on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
• Experience with scripting languages such as R and Python.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience from a district heating company, energy consultancy company, or a similar group focusing on district heating topics.
• Educational background in energy engineering or other relevant fields with a focus on IT processes and tools.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Danish is an advantage.
