Your role and responsibilities
Do you have experience leading projects for customers in the Pharma/Life Science sector ready for something new? Take your next career step with us at ABB and become part of delivering projects for a more productive and sustainable future. As Project Manager, you will lead Pharma/Life Science projects with competent and experienced engineers responsible for the design, procurement, testing, delivery, and commissioning of products, systems, and applications to control the customer's process. The projects are primarily driven in-house at our offices, but work at the customer's facility also occurs. You will be part of ABB Energy Industries, which is part of ABB's Process Automation business area and operates towards customers in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries as well as the heating, water, and nuclear power industries in Sweden and the Nordics. Our project business is currently located in several cities, and we work closely together in integrated teams both within and outside Sweden. The placement is at one of our offices in Kista or Malmö. Your Responsibilities • As a project manager with us, you will plan and deliver projects of varying sizes in the form of customer-specific solutions based on ABB's products and industrial control systems, participating from the tender phase to the end of the warranty period. • You will work with several projects in parallel and be responsible for ensuring that you and your team deliver according to the contract, set goals, and, of course, with a satisfied customer. • You will have an outgoing, varied, and social role that involves a lot of networking, where internal and external contacts are a natural part of your daily routine.

Qualifications for the role

• We are looking for someone with an Engineering background of relevant focus or equivalent work experience.
• To succeed well in the role, we see that you have at least 5 years of project management experience in Pharma/Life Science and a good understanding of GMP/GAMP.
• Knowledge of ABB's control system 800xA and SAP is meritorious.
• As a person, you are curious, goal-oriented, and communicative, focusing on the customer and having the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally.
• You have a strong personal drive and good organizational skills, along with a strong business focus and a good understanding of contract law.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
