We work with the World’s most successful offshore wind turbines and are extremely proud of contributing with future sustainable energy solutions. To support our continuous growth, we are currently looking for a talented and experienced Team Lead with excellent people management skills as well as technical project management knowledge and the capability of managing a team of highly skilled and engaged Project Managers.

The position is based in Offshore Equipment and your team will be one of three in the Project Management Office for Equipment Development. You will lead a team responsible for the Project Management of Technology Development Projects as well as New Product Development projects.

How to contribute to our vision
The Team Lead for the Equipment Development Team will be leading our highly dedicated Project Managers, who drive and manage all equipment related development projects across our organization. As we aim for "fire prevention" rather than "firefighting" you will need to ensure that all our Project Managers have the best conditions for delivering as promised and in the same way securing that synergies across projects are considered. Together with the Head of Project Management Office, you will be involved in setting the direction and further optimize the development and deliverables of your team.

As the Team Lead you will make sure your team is capable of reaching all targets in a proper working environment.

Your assignments will cover but not be limited to:

  • Lead, manage and mentor your team
  • Team coordination, planning incl. forecasting of competences needed to cover future portfolio
  • Continuous employee feedback and performance management
  • Engage with engineering Team Leads to understand project scope and set the right project teams
  • Secure monthly KPI reporting for ongoing projects
  • Pro-actively taking part in our continuous improvements and development of new work tools, processes and procedures needed
  • Making sure deadlines within the team are kept and needed information is shared with relevant stakeholders
  • Approaching knowledge sharing across projects to ensure continuous improvement

What you need to make a difference

A positive, proactive, motivating, and innovative team player with a systematic and quality-oriented approach as well as the ability to keep an overview even under pressure. You are structured and pragmatic in your way of dealing with issues and challenges – and you love the fun and the challenge in the race to build some of the largest offshore wind farms in the world!

You preferably have some years of experience in leading teams within R&D Project Management - preferably combined with relevant experience within the Offshore or Wind Power industry. A degree in Engineering or similar will be beneficial, together with:

  • strong leadership skills
  • experience in managing people and a strong technical background
  • familiar with engineering disciplines associated with the design of wind turbines
  • used to defining and improving business-related processes and it feels natural for you to take the lead in complex tasks with many stakeholders
  • enjoy working in an international environment and possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing
