You will become an integrated part of the Direct Sourcing team consisting of 12 dedicated colleagues with different roles, both technical, project, and commercially related. Our mission is to ensure a strong, global supply base, ready to deliver to Kamstrup Manufacturing’s current and future needs. You will join a competent team, focusing on building the right supplier relationships and on having great cross-functional collaboration with different stakeholders. You will become part of the continued implementation of structured category management practices, in support of Kamstrup's international growth journey. A job with impact and responsibility
As our new Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for select sourcing categories and at the same time you will – together with the colleagues in the team – be responsible for achieving the shared and combined goals of the team. The selection of categories is not carved in stone but currently we have categories like cables, antennas, and electronic assemblies in mind.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will be:

• Driving and leading cross-functional category analysis, strategizing, and planning
• Identifying and executing a savings and value-creation pipeline together with internal and external stakeholders
• Driving and executing sourcing activities including supplier selection, introduction, and contract negotiations
• Creating and executing supplier engagement plans, as well as managing supplier relationships and performance
• Managing risks related to the supply base and contribute to the overall Sourcing Risk Management process

In this position, you can expect 15-25 travel days a year.

Personality matters
We are looking for a result-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager with great business acumen. We imagine that you have an academic background within business, engineering or similar, combined with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role – preferably from an international company. This experience has given you an in-depth understanding of value chains, negotiations, project management, as well as great technical flair.

As a person you are curious and forthcoming and can communicate and engage effectively towards internal as well as external stakeholders. You use your analytical skills and structured way of working to identify the right actions and achieve results. You are naturally driven by finding more and better options and by collaborating and negotiating to make things happen.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.
