We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Procurement Digital Solutions to join our team.

“You will provide leadership and strategic guidance to the entire Procurement Digital Solution team. In this role, your main responsibility is to facilitate the development and implementation of a strategic roadmap for integrating digital technologies, data and analytics into our procurement processes. The primary goal will be to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, improve user experience and enhance overall procurement performance through data driven decision-making. You will lead a team of solution owners based in DK and Gdansk.” says Head of Procurement Digitalisation & CI, Anette Falk Bøgebjerg.

How you will make an impact
As the Head of Procurement Digital Solutions, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive digitalization strategy for procurement. By leveraging data and analytics, you will drive insights and improvements within the procurement function. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying and evaluating innovative technologies, tools, and solutions that can enhance procurement processes. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Act as Product Owner for Procurement towards IT
• Identify and evaluate innovative technologies, tools, and solutions that can harness the power of data to enhance procurement processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and finance, to ensure seamless integration of Digital Solutions
• Collaboration with IT: ensure to follow established processes & secure early involvement of IT in the projects. Secure deployment of correct escalation path for Procurement related issues
• Ensure implementation of digital procurement systems, including effective training and change management for all stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digitalization efforts and drive continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital procurement, and recommend best practices to enhance our competitive advantage
• Ensure funding for all projects and a healthy IT landscape for Procurement processes
• Lead and develop a team of 5 employees within the Digital Solutions teams.

This position can be based in Aarhus or Gdansk and report directly to the Head of Procurement Digitalisation & CI. In terms of travel, you can expect approximately 15-20 days per year.

What will make you successful
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree would be advantageous.

You have experience in procurement and digitalisation, automation, or process improvement. and strong leadership skills. Furthermore, you have excellent influencing, networking and communication skills, with the ability to work successfully across a large matrix organisation.

In addition, you demonstrate:

• Proven experience in digital transformation or digitalisation within the procurement function, with a strong focus on leveraging data and analytics
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and best practices, with a deep understanding of the role of data and analytics
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, and predictive analytics
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving measurable results
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the procurement team, encouraging creative thinking and knowledge sharing
