Join a highly talented team
At Systematic, you will be part of our internal Business Intelligence Team in Data & Digitalization. The team in Aarhus comprises five highly talented colleagues: an Architect, a Backend Developer, a Data Scientist, an Intern, and a Team lead. The team was established two years ago and controls internal data and reporting using Power BI within Systematic.
Data & Digitalization exist to accelerate the digitalization of Systematics' operating model. The team is responsible for various tasks - from engaging in customer dialogue and data modelling, building up data warehouses for analysis, reporting based on customer needs and requirements, and designing data-driven processes to fit the company's future direction.
Contribute to the growth
As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure to support our data-driven initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that drive business value. In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Develop and maintain data models
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems to meet scalability requirements
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
We are looking for a new colleague with 3+ years of experience in a similar role, who is proactive and has strong analytical skills. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
Moreover, we envisage that you:
- Have experience with data warehousing
- Have experience with Python and SQL
- Have experience with APIs, integrating data from external sources
- Have problem-solving skills and can work independently
- Have experience with Azure Data Factory
- It is advantageous if you have experience working with Tabular Editor, Microsoft SQL Server Studio, and data lakes.
- Are fluent in English, as it is our corporate language and used daily in conversations with colleagues worldwide
