About the job
As a Category Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of building Orifarm’s newly established indirect procurement function. We aim to optimize our procurement processes and deliver value to Orifarm and key stakeholders in terms of reduced cost, risk, improved cash and value. You will have global responsibility for one or more indirect procurement categories and will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the global organization.

Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, Christian Nymark-Jacobsen, you will collaborate closely with various organizational stakeholders and ensure involvement, alignment, and effective communication. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with a variety of projects and tasks in a busy and ambitious environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Development of category plans in close collaboration with stakeholders in line of business
• Driving procurement- and sourcing projects - ensuring results on cost reduction, total cost perspectives, and risk avoidance in collaboration with stakeholders
• Development of networks with stakeholders for effective implementation of sourcing initiatives
• Ensure that Global Indirect Procurement is seen as a focused and professional business partner
• Monitor, manage, and report on achievements on key performance indicators
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with internal stakeholders
• Oversee the entire indirect procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, supplier selection and development, and performance management for own categories
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, net working capital improvements, process improvements, and risk mitigation within own categories

About you
We expect you to have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Alternatively, you possess a substantial experience in indirect procurement (a minimum of 5 years). You will also need to have experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.

Additionally, we expect that you demonstrate a clear sense of ownership and desire to make a difference to stakeholders and Orifarm. You will also need strong project management skills and the desire to manage category project teams. As a professional, you possess a data-driven approach to problem solving and manages act and think globally and holistically.

As a person, you enjoy working with many different stakeholders and business units whilst helping other achieve results through learning and growth. Lastly, you will need to have strong communication skills in Danish and English.

Job Location
Orifarm is located in Odense, and we have a satellite office in Søborg. It is preferred that you spend 2-3 days a week at the office in Odense to be close to stakeholders and colleagues, - and some travel should be expected.
