Job Description
Are you a Talent Acquisition leader with global recruitment expertise and proven experience managing diverse and distributed teams?

The LEGO® Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Director to build and drive recruitment strategy, capacity & demand planning and recruitment operations globally. Reporting into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, this role will lead the Northern Europe ~20 person team and be based in our headquarters in Billund.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

The Talent function is responsible for leading and implementing a global agenda, including talent attraction and employer brand, talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development right the way through to cultural augmentation and organisational development.

The Talent Operations function supports the development and implementation of the global TA strategy and owns the overall recruitment capacity planning for The LEGO® Group.

Core responsibilities

  • Build and implement a global operational hiring strategy to support talent acquisition needs
  • Champion and implement TA activities globally including attraction, employer brand, sourcing, pipelining, selection and assessment, D&I and onboarding, all while delivering a premium candidate and hiring leader experience
  • Demonstrate in depth knowledge of global market trends, insights and challenges, to inform into the global TA strategy
  • Build, manage, coach, empower and develop a successful geographically dispersed team whilst driving high team impact and development of the team itself
  • Role model how data and insights can be used to influence hiring and enhance overall effectiveness across the TA function
  • Build multi-channel go-to-market strategy to deliver D&I targets, using an insight driven approach based on speed and cost of acquisition
  • Optimise hiring processes, ensuring alignment to company objectives, coupled with delivering high quality hires at speed (including tailored testing/assessment approach)

Do you have what it takes?

  • Outstanding leadership of diverse and global recruitment teams, with proven experience role-modelling as strong leader (both formally and informally) and creating a culture of impressive employee engagement and team collaboration
  • Demonstrable experience in leading an international recruitment agenda and achieving operational excellence
  • A strategic vision with the ability to identify future business needs and adapt/develop accordingly
  • A confidence with data and the ability to use insights to drive performance and decision making
  • Proven ability in fostering strong internal rapports with the confidence to drive and facilitate conversations with senior leaders, whilst delivering results in a rapid and ever evolving environment
  • Curious and brave in exploring new ways of hiring
