Compliance Officer for Regulatory Compliance Control Testing Team (Maternity Cover)

You will be part of the Control Testing Team in Group Compliance. We are a continuously growing team of 9 professional colleagues based across the Nordics and Lithuania. This open position is based in Denmark.

The role of Control Testing is to test the design and operational effectiveness of controls against Group Policy requirements and external regulatory requirements and expectations.
Our annual plan consists of various types of testing activities covering various Regulatory Compliance risk types, which creates a versatile work life with many different and varied tasks.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover (expected duration: around 12 months).
You will:
- Test the design and operational effectiveness of controls, reporting and documenting your results in a clear, actionable way
- ensure alignment and agreement with stakeholders in the context of your testing conclusions
- Have ongoing collaboration with our stakeholders on the mitigation and closure of compliance observations
- Navigate in a complex organisational setup, engage with colleagues across multiple teams, and work on fast-paced projects, balancing business needs and tight deadlines with accuracy, detail, and analytical approaches
About you:
- 3+ years of experience with control testing or control execution within the financial sector
- Strong analytical skills
- Greit communication skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to summarise complex information for audiences that is accurate and balanced
- Experience working with stakeholders at various levels
- Experience working with Regulatory risks such as Treatment of Customers, Market Abuse, Data Protection, and/or specific associated regulations (i.e., MAR, MiFiD II, and IDD)
- Advanced English skills, both spoken and written
- This is a role for you if you thrive with independent tasks, can prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously, and still find it equally important to collaborate and achieve goals as a team
Your title in job contract will be Officer - Compliance.
