Your role and responsibilities
This position leads the execution of small projects and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets. We are leveraging our successful history with new business opportunities. • Leads the project team allocated to the project. • Highly values ownership and responsibility, and inspires the project team to rise up to the challenges. • Represents the ABB Core values: Care, Curiosity, Collaboration in every aspect of the work. • Ensures compliance to standard ABB internal directives and procedure, relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements. • Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. • Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. • Breaks down work packages into activities that provide a basis for estimating, scheduling, executing, monitoring, and controlling the project work and develops project schedule based on scope, cost, and resource constraints.

Qualifications for the role

• Comprehensible experience in the engineering and project management roles, preferably on Mechanical Design projects.
• Sound knowledge of our customers processes and needs is a big advantage
• Demonstrated experience of working with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SolidEdge or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of project management in Agile formats, such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• Experience in developing design process automations using SolidWorks API or equivalent is a merit.
• Experience in programming version control and code management in Git/Azure environment is a merit.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills as this position is handling several stakeholders
• A Masters degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of Swedish is beneficial as this position is located within the factory based in Västerås, Sweden
