Our Strategic Procurement team provides procurement support for many projects across the MAKEEN Group. Our solutions offer new as well as established technology based on electromechanical machinery and components. You will meet an international environment and together with your team of 13 committed colleagues you will ensure an efficient and flexible supply chain.
We aim for the best possible commercial conditions with minimal risk as well as an effective project implementation with high security in our supply chain.
Areas of responsibility
As our new Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for the technical procurement in projects working closely together with technical project managers and fulfilling project needs. Your primary responsibility will be to negotiate procurement agreements with international suppliers within the scope of technical equipment and sub-systems.
You will be an integrated part of the project team in our large-scale projects supporting several business segments primarily the new and exciting green projects in MAKEEN EnviroTech A/S. You will meet a high team spirit and a working culture characterised by support, cooperation, professional feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services in large-scale projects
- Handle and co-ordinate procurement in projects together with strategic procurement
- Lead commercial negotiations in cooperation with the project team
- Secure that terms and conditions are met in the project contract
- Management of specific global procurement categories
- Stakeholder management, meaning internally across the organizations as well as external suppliers
Your profile
We will be looking for a dedicated person with good stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. It is important to have a customer-centric attitude, great communication skills at all levels, and a proactive mindset.
With substantial commercial expertise on top of technical insight and understanding, you acquire an overview of complex problems, and project requirements, and find the best procurement solutions.
We imagine that you can contribute with:
- a relevant technical or commercial background or both
- some years' experience with procurement processes and supplier collaboration
- experience in a manufacturing environment
- excellent negotiation skills and insight into procurement contracts
- solid understanding of procurement processes and tools
- proficiency in English

The practical things
Your daily base will be at MAKEEN Energy’s head office in Randers, Denmark. We are flexible about time, and you will enjoy a high degree of freedom under responsibility. We work with a mutual expectation of flexibility in busy periods.
You can start as soon as possible. Salary will be determined according to qualifications.
